1 Para, 16 Para Brigade.
Served 22 years as a British soldier before becoming a contractor in 2004.
Now retired and working as a freelance reporter and writer on military subjects.
Simon has had articles published in Combat and Survival, Raider, a few foreign military magazines as well as spending a short time as a staff writer for Air soft International. He occasional writes for Strike-Hold one of the biggest military blogs on the Internet today.
During his time with the Para's he has attended several foreign parachute course
